MICHELLES NEW JAG

The third and latest X-Type is again a 2.5 AWD.
It's pretty much a perfect car with no issues so far, so hopefully we can have many years of use out of this one.
This is the fifth X-Type we have including two spare parts cars not shown here.

This has aftermarket alloy wheels, plus the navigation/climate control screen.

This is Michelle's second X-type again a 2.5 AWD but a slightly later SE, which we managed to destroy after 12 months by dropping it off a hoist so then replaced it with her newest car.
We bought back the wreck so we could repair it using our spare parts car or just keep it for parts.

This is a 2003 Jaguar X-Type Sport 2.5 AWD Auto. Michelle's first X-Type.

It has all the nice toys, a sleek black exterior, 17 inch wheels and a stunning factory red & black interior.
After 4 trouble free years it decided not to start and to cut a long story short it is a problem with the dash which controls the immobiliser. Not an easy problem to fix without the right gear, and it is just too expensive to freight the car to the nearest dealer and then hope that they can fix it for a reasonable price.
We did swap in a full set of computers from another model but it still had driveability issues so we have just bought an identical model for spares and will do a computer swap soon.
